What causes asthma?

What causes Asthma? There are so many who are looking for the answer to this question. Well, we know a little about it, but not enough to prevent if from happening all together.

There is not a single cause for such a complex disease as Asthma. Generally, allergens that are inhaled will trigger an irritation to the airway and cause difficulty in breathing. A couple of other factors can be exposure to cold hair or exercising. The airway then becomes inflamed and the muscles go into spasms, and this is an asthma attack.

Exercise and allergies and not always the cause of natural asthma. There are many people that this does not affect. Sometimes there can be an some other type disorder that may cause their air passageway to react. Some of these things can be irritants such as cigarette smoke, or a an area with an excessive amount of dust.

What makes us different from someone who has asthma and maybe someone who just has a cold? How do we know the difference?

Certain foods such as dairy and even red wine are known to cause an attack.

It has been proven that if you exercise your airways with regular exercise, your chances of having an asthma attack will lessen. It is important to use your airway muscles and keep them stretched which in turn is less likely to go into spasm because your lungs will be stronger.

Also, take a look around your workplace, what type of exposure do you have there? Are there things that can trigger an asthma attack? Are there smoke stacks, construction? these are some things you really want to take into consideration if it really affects your health.
